Biography
Dr. Harney graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2004. She completed an internship in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin followed by General Medical Training in St. James’ Hospital for a further two years with clinical experience in Respiratory, Cardiology, Endocrinology and Nephrology in particular.
Following additional training in Paediatrics, Dr. Harney embarked on the four-year General Practice Specialist Training in Ireland, which incorporated training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Palliative Care Medicine and Dermatology. Having completed her Specialist Training, Dr. Harney has worked in General Practice in North Dublin before joining the team here in Clontarf in May 2019.
Dr. Harney has a keen interest in Women’s Health and is fully trained in long-acting reversible contraceptive methods. She is trained in Aesthetic Medicine and can provide such services as anti-wrinkle injections to both patients and non-patients of the practice of the practice. Dr. Harney is a single mother to a little girl.
